new necro gwwam

im starting a new character a necro i havent done necro in a while and i ran flesh golem minion master back on my first necro a few years ago is that a viable option still or what can necros do better? and im going for gwamm on the necro and keep hearing you need drunkard for gwamm, why?

AP Caller necros really are great

You need 30 titles for GWAMM, if you haven't got Legendary Survivor, Drunkard is the easiest route to go, because otherwise you end up maxing Lux/Kurz or Treasure Hunter/Wisdom.

It is not needed, but preferred.

On your build, it is best to leave MM to heroes (they are best at applying Death Nova), but if you enjoy playing as one, go ahead.

You don't need drunkard, it is just the easiest one to get when you are 29/30 assuming you didn't get survivor and you got all the easier titles first. You get something like max lucky or treasure hunter, but that takes more time and money than drunkard.

luxon/kurz is absolutely easier than drunkard, providing u are not botting

On Topic: I agree that maxing the kurzick/luxon titles were fairly easy; boring but easy.

candy corn, masochism, aura of the lich, suddenly lvl 22 minions make it such that you don't necessarily need to run a minion bomber build to be an effective minion master. There's also a bone fiend build with ebon standard of courage/honor+ dwarf hammer, order of undeath that makes fine damage.

There are no necessary titles. Just a lot of easy/trivial ones. Stuff like Protector. You can figure out which are easy and which aren't; it's not hard.

27 titles are easy and cheap:

- Survivor
- Legendary Guardian (7 titles)
- Legendary Vanquisher (4 titles)
- Legendary Cartographer (4 titles)
- Legendary Skill Hunter (4 titles)
- Sunspear/Lightbringer (2 titles)
- Master of the North
- Norn/Asura/Ebon/Dwarf (4 titles)

Then there are 2 easy but costly titles, but they are very much farmable during events:

- Sweet Tooth
- Party Animal

This leaves you with 1 title for GWAMM, 2 if you don't have survivor:

- Drunkard
- Kurzick
- Luxon
- Other titles (wisdom, lucky/unlucky, treasure, etc)


As you can see, if you have survivor getting to 29 titles is pretty easy and without a lot of grinding (I admit that getting all rep titles to max will probably take some grinding, but that is trivial compared to the 30th title).
