Invasion of the Assasin/Mesmers?

Every time I go to the Tomb of the Primeval Kings to get my butt whupped and do a humility check, I see dozens of Assasin/Mesmer combos streaming into the portal, a few at a time. They don't seem to be all from one guild or anything... so what's the deal? Why is the population breakdown of the outpost usually one elementalist (me), a warrior or two, an odd monk, and then a gaggle of sins who are almost always also mesmers.

Some secret?

Basically, they run in by themselves with a specific build and solo the first few groups for drops, repeat ad nauseum. Also known as "farming."

They're farming the mobs on the right ledge for ectos.

I tried it a few times as Me/A. Totally doable, but boring as hell.

Time them, may be bots.

doesn't matter if they are or not they'll still get banned thanks to anets flawless bot prevention system.

Not sure on that - since the big "clean out" which removed loads of bots/ppl ive not yet heard of anyone being banned for topk farming .We`ve got the wintersday snowball fights due soon and im sure a larger number ( seriously larger like 50x ) of the ppl will be in eotn as either ranger or necro farming the same quest doing exactly the same moves/actions and spells more or less in exactly the same place... basically same as topk and a/me.

Could be they saving Dhuum for wintersday when he`ll don a santa cap then go on a "slay ride" and ban ppl whilst saying "Ho Ho Ho"

They are banning botters still. look at the threads in these forums whining about it.

OT: they're still banning people, but in smaller amounts, not in one huge "sweep" of Dhuum's Scythe

Question has been answered, and before this degenerates even further into an argument / flame-war about bots, anet, banning, etc..
