I haven't been too interested in farming kurzick/luxon faction for quite some time but I now find that I would like to finish my god walking title for guild wars 2. What's the fastest way to do this? I was originally going to try Hfff or the Luxon AFK farm but apparently neither of those are as good as they once were. Any suggestions?
Ah, with this weekend being double points it would seem a logical choice. What about on your standard non double faction days?
So what is the current fastest faction farm?

Don't do JQ on the Luxon side, the competition there is so unbalanced the Kurzicks win 7 out of 10 matches. The wait times on the Kurzick side are longer as a result. There is a problem with one of the shrines (I think it's the yellow mine ranger shrine) where it won't attack the Juggernaut even though it's supposed to which gives the Kurzicks a slight advantage. It's been known by ArenaNet for over 2 years but they won't fix it.
Aside from that the Luxons tend to play pretty poorly, they have healing monks that try to hold shrines instead of RoJ monks which take shrines. Sure the former strategy can work but it's far less efficient and weaker than the offensive strategy. You are correct. The Kurzick have a slight inherent advantage because of this. The ranger shrine on the kurzick side of the yellow quarry won't attack a juggie that's passing by, while the ranger shrine on the lux side of the yellow quarry will attack a turtle passing by with no provocation.
As already said, JQ is best for Kurzicks. MQSC is best for Luxon (If you bot, I'll be glad to have you on the Luxon side of JQ though

And this weekend you won't get double points for vanquishing, just JQ and FA...so I would hang out there.

11k faction/ ~11 mins Just to say if you cant do sc or have problems getting a team then its actually possible to use h/h and do mqvq ( same thing sort of ) in around 16 - 20 mins.
My alliance managed a respectable 16 mins mqvq using no set team or builds - the only set thing was 1 healer monk required and we had no team synergy - this is just to show how any team can do roughly 3 runs an hr for 30 to 33k rep an hr so if you cant get a build for sc team etc dont worry as there is an alternative.
Btw my alliance a few times actually test builds doing mqvq and with even the worse build ( my ursin - would get lol`d at ) can do it.

Even this weekend I'm seeing teams with 1-2 bots. On Tuesday night I saw one Luxon team that had only one real person...running the same build as the mesmer bots LOL

On the Luxon side also, you can do that Arena quest that's repeatable on Hard mode. I do this when there is no speed clear action happening. The arena quest is good for a few hundred faction for a few minutes time.
