I hear that Obsidian Behemots do blunt dmg, yet they are rangers with ranged attacks? Would like to hear other people's opinions bout this =)
It could be right cuz they do a fair amount of dmg... But wtf? Means i need to carry yet another shield set.
BTW Give us more weapon sets Anet ! 4 is NOT enough

I heard they do no damage to you if you swap to melee weapons. Just run past them and ignore them (Just dont run up to them because the Traps will deffinitely not ignore you

Just manually switch your shield from your inventory. Takes only 2 sec.

If you need to switch shields to survive, you're doing something wrong.

I've never bothered to carry anything but a bog-standard -5/20% and have fought lots of behemoths.
I've also never needed more than 3 weapon sets. (PvE again)
Edit - never needed to use more than three weapon sets - usually only 1 set - but I do have 4 of course.

Balistic Pve
A good idea is to get the Vanguard insignia.
It helps a lot lets you use a different skill than AoE, if you are bringing aoe :P
