So I recently re downloaded Vent on my Laptop I've used it before same computer no problem same antivirus and such. I haven't used it since the summer when I was home, now living on campus, I recently tried connecting to 2 different vent servers and I couldn't connect whatsoever. On someone's advice I went to my windows firewall opened the port to both servers still no response.
So anyone have any suggestions for a fix?
Tried looking for old threads didn't see anything that I thought was the same problem if there already is a thread please point me in the direction.

I have the same issue with vent at university and have concluded that it is probably the school's network and network securities preventing me from connecting. It might be the same issue with you if you have never tried it before at school.

Oh well I guess I'll be guildless for a while since I wanted to get back to the high end stuff after taking off a while to open 6k chests and everyone wants vent even for easy dungeons.
