Greetings,
The Everlasting Sacred Path is something more than just a guild. We are community of players who enjoy the time we spend interacting and playing the game of GW together. We also hold to a few tenets which may appear odd to some gamers.
1) You don't have to take yourself, or the 'prescribed' methods of play all that seriously in order to enjoy success at all levels of the game.
2) It's more fun to play around people who you can share a few laughs with while in the party rather that someone who can leet haxor their way through the zone all by themselves while you sit and watch.
3) Pants and crumpets and vodka are all interesting topics of conversation and can often all be juggled into conversation all in the scope of one afternoon.
With that being said, anyone still reading beyond this point will likely want a few concrete details, and I shall be happy to accommodate.
Our guild was formed in June 2005 and we have grown steadily and slowly ever since that time. We have kept a close eye towards fostering a sense of camaraderie amongst the guild populace, rather than just chucking a bunch of people into a guild roster and calling it a good (not that anybody ever does that of course)
Currently we are around the 90 - member mark and we now operate two [ESP] guilds, both within the same alliance. This helps us to help manage space when necessary. In general, any secondary accounts that people have and less active members who still wish to keep in contact go into the secondary guild.
Our guild has been a part of several different alliances in the past. However a few years back we settled on creating our own Kurzick alliance, which is currently full. We based our search for ally guilds on the same method that we use to search for guild members - who out there is fun to play with and can add a spark of creativity to the gaming experience.
We have always had our own web site/forums which you may find here http://www.espguild.com. You will likely notice that we run a number of weekly and annual alliance events to keep things interesting. Anyone who hops aboard soon may make it time to take part in this years Christmas Holliday Bash
We do have our own vent server. Several of our allies also have their own voice chat servers, so there is pretty much always someone to hang out and speak with, should you be feeling that particular motivation. However, we are far from being the type to require vent/ts as a condition of being in the guild. It's s nice feature, and it is there to use when needed. That is all.
Our member base is primarily spread across North America and Canada, with a healthy sprinkling of people from all other parts of the globe. Being large and active, it is fairly easy for someone that joins us from any part of the world to find people to game with.
It also may bear mentioning that we are actively planning on moving ESP into GW2- at least once the magic genie is released from the bottle and our wishes of actually seeing the new game are granted . . .
Enough particulars for one evening? Well, I invite you to check out our forums or else look for me in game - Karuna Vajra - so that we may discuss the interest that you have in taking part in our shenanigans. I will also respond to pm's here, though the response time may be a bit slower than what you can expect if you hit me up directly on our guild site.
Hope you all enjoyed the read, and I look forward to seeing you in game-
Sincerely,
PvX Something different, ESP a GW and GW2 Guild
Karuna
