what am i doing wrong?

so i'm at vizunah square. i make it past the first part fine, but the 2nd big battle comes and i call targets flawlessly. rits so they don't summon, then monks, then ele's & melee along with necro's, what am i doing wrong? i failed the mission because togo's bitch ass couldn't stay alive. or mhenlo, one of the two. i have no heroes etc just henchies. my build is fine, i even added some defense so i don't stress the monks too much... seeing as i don't have max AL yet because i'm not at kaineng. on the 2nd fight where is the best place to stand? should i just stay at that first spawn point and let the enemies come to me?
i have very little patients when it comes to this stuff... i've always seen guild wars as a kind of griefing game where it's like loludidn'tdoitperfectnowstartover so i'd like not to fail a 2nd time.

You can get to Kaineng before doing that mission.
Also, that mission involves another party of 8, which get together at the first plaza. It is easier with actual people being in that party.
Best position in the second fight is staying near Togo and Mhenlo. The foes from the higher ground will come down the stairs eventually.
Also, post your builds, could be part of the problem.

OK, 1st off. Run yourself to Kaineng, or pay a few gold to a runner if you dont konw the way. Its a 2 min run with absolutely no fighting from the Marketplace (The outpost you arrived at from the Starter Island). Then you can get your max armor easily.
Second, Try sticking closer to the NPCs and let the foes come towards you if you find that Manh*e and To go are dying. Your Monks will heal them as well.
Third. Wich build are you using and which Henchies are you bringing? That mission is relatively hard with only henchies, but not impossible. Especially in NM.
Later fights in that mission are harder btw and require you to split a little, else you will be quickly overwhelmed by waves comming into a small area from 3 directions.

You should always try to flag your healers where they will be most useful, but away from the melee area. If they are not flagged they will spend their time running around with you instead of healing. Remember there is no casting on the move in GW.

The only annoying part in the design of this mission is the damn npcs.
Depending on which side you start things can be bad - togo may die or mhenlo ( cant be helped if other teams npc only ).
Few times togo or mhenlo will get stuck for no reason , if using mm`s make sure after each battle you send the mm ahead so mhenlo/togo wont get stuck behind trying to heal minions.
I find viznuah actually gets easier after you have done it several times as you get to know what spawns where and when - that way you can anticipate whats coming and be ready for it.
Just to say this - i recall a few years ago trying and getting stuck on viznuah - nothing i tried worked and even getting 5 guildies to help it took us several tries to do it and thats without all the buffs and eotn skills we have now. These days its straight in and out and last time i did it ( both sides had humans ) we didnt fail but lost masters due to idiotic mhenlo and togo who got constantly stuck and one of us had to run back and kick his ass into gear to move - bar that it was a breeze.
Time and patience will get you thru it - rushing leads to failure if you are not used to it.

Vizunah Square is (almost) unique in the Guild Wars universe: There are TWO teams playing in the mission at the same time.
You're starting from the "local quarter" side. At the same time you begin the mission, there will be a second party from the "foreign quarter" side. Both teams will be in the mission at the same time, and both teams must succeed at their jobs, or the entire mission is a failure.
Many times, the other side will be 100% npcs, because no humans queued for the mission when you did.
Many times, the other side will fail in its job (protecting Mhenlo while he runs to meet you) and so you will fail through no fault of your own.
Best Advice I can give:
If you can, find a friend to go the to the "foreign side" and "synchronize start" the mission with you. Like "3, 2, 1, press ENTER MISSION now!" That way, you can depend on your friend's team to do its job and not make you fail.

I found using a good Necro MM or MB Hero to be very usefull, also if u want Master reward.
