Anyone ever heard of a "hacked item"

Now...I have a feeling the player was blowing smoke but in LA there was some ninny running around saying that he had "created" a hacked item & after trading it to someone he could steal their account. I've never heard of this and have just recently gotten back into playing after taking several months off the game....soooo I thought I'd take the risk of sounding silly for giving the ninny any credit & ask here where people know the ins & outs of the game.

nah this persons blowing smoke, pretty sure you cant do that, you can however send items from computer to computer to steal peoples accounts, virus', keyloggers etc etc you get it :P but as for ingame 'hacked items' i highly doubt that

like dmoney51 said, you can't trade an item ig to someone and then that person can just magically hack your account. Now, you can send emails and such to give people viruses, but nothing ig is going to get you hacked(you can get banned for buying online gold and that stuff tho and that's tradeing, so technically someone could do that and get you banned, but not hacked)

If someone where capable of doing so, there would be countless hacked accounts every hour.

Rule of thumb: ignore everyone in all chat when in LA. You'll get caught up in trolls and lies if you don't.

I should really know that rule by heart

You should've SS it and filed a report and tell him you're reporting him for creating and trying to sell it.

Do it during the holiday festivals. And after his banned, whisper him and say "Enjoy your 3 day vacation?"
