What I liked about WiK and expect about GW:B gameplay.

I know its been a long time since WiK was introduced, but I still have to give Anet Props.

Here is the BIG thing I liked about WiK. The mobs. And this is why. They were level 20, level appropriate armor, and were still challenging (at first). Granted the hard mode buff (not the level, but the increased casting speed and what not) made them harder in the end, but the skill bars. OH MAN THE SKILL BARS!

Also since the levels/armor were normal, sins critical ratio wasn't affected, elementalists could once again nuke, and any other classes that hard mode made kinda meh. My ele had to take some anti interrupt skills, or increased casting time things to counter skill bars.

This is what guild wars needs more of. Adapting skill bars so you can face enemies with Skills they know how to use, and use them damn well. Elementalists damage or assassins crit ratio not being affected by inherent armor/level buffs. I hope canthan content in guild wars beyond does the same thing. Awesome skill bars. Besides thats what makes challenge, the actions monsters take. Crappy skill bars are not made better but higher health/armor/level. Just takes longer to kill is all.

Thank you live team for the awesome WIK and I look forward to winds of change. Haven't used my Ele in ages ^_^

Nice post. I defy agree with you giving monsters skills from 2 professions was a great idea. And I can't wait to see what skills the monsters in WoC will use

I agree, mobs had nice bars and played well. It almost felt like PvP sometimes, like when the monks started kiting me when I'd attack them in melee.
