A little help please?

Hi everyone,

I started to try playing Guild wars Nightfall again...
Only to realise that they HAD to update it so you have to remember a character's name...
Well... After like a year or so not playing it, I've kinda forgotten my characters names...
I've sent ticket after ticket regarding the subject, but still nothing to help me "get my account" back.

I send one ticket at a time, until I have a reply for that ticket.
I have send my real information, as much information regarding my characters as possible, etc.
Even sent the game activation code and other details...

However, I am unable to send any "screenshots" of my characters, because unfortunately I don't have screenshots, as this pc is slightly newer (as well as the other one crashed and went kablooey..)

On average, when should I get my account back?
Or rather, when will I receive one of the characters names?

It's been two days already, and at this rate I may as well buy a new GW, as there are certain offers available.
I wouldn't even mind if they deleted or cleaned the account so I started fresh, it was what I was planning to do anyway. ~_~

I want to play.. I was going to show my friend the game, as she might be getting it too... But I can't play because of the stupid "character" update, where you need to remember the name... *Sigh*

Patience. It's the weekend.

They will respond to you, and if you have enough information, you will get your account.

=x For me it's Monday 3:30 PM, so... Hehe..

I already have my account, it's just the character name. >_<
I know the account name, pass, CD Key, my old information, just... Not the character names.

So far ~3/4 tickets sent, and not much useful information received.

In addition to checking screenshots (which you can't do), you can try contacting people who might know your IGN. Real life friends who used to play with you are a good start. Posting on a guild forum if you had an active one may also help. Check old emails, online or real writings you may have made, etc.

I can assure you, having to wait a few days for support to get back to you is better than losing thousands of hours of game play because of NCSoft's dodgy security.

Doesn't really matter what time/day it is for you. It matters what time/day it is for support.

For them it's Sunday night.

Patience. All you can do is wait for the responses. Patience. Patience.

There really is nothing that posting here will accomplish.

Hmm, I didn't really play with anyone I knew... I did however join a Guild, but not a clue what it was called... I joined it, and then the last I remember was my pc crashing, and therefore the new pc, and I forgot about playing GW. >_<
As for emails, the one I used ages ago for this game is gone.. Somehow, thanks to Hotmail..
As for writings, I don't have any of my character names... Then again, it took me over an hour to find my login details..

Just another thing to point out. You may not want to delete all your characters as they get b-day presents that can be sold or used for your Hall of Monuments (EoTN thing)

But still awaiting my ticket response.

Yeah, it's their weekend. Just don't hold your breath. They aren't exactly fast but if you were able to give them your acess keys. You should have no issue getting your account back swiftly(as in swiftly for anet I'd say ~1 week) since thats really all they need to identify it as yours.
Don't worry about not being able to send screenshots. I mean honestly if you had a screenshot of your characters. Then odds are your ign would be in the screenshot now wouldnt it

Very true, but you could always capture it in a way which it wouldn't show your name, correct? :P

Stop creating new tickets. It just confuses the support system without moving things along any faster. In fact, it might help to email [email protected] with Character Name - Multiple Tickets in the subject line. Give them all your owner & account info (they don't need the password) and list the ticket numbers so they can close them.
