Questions about Canthan New Year - Imperial Chefs

I know this may seem stupid since nothing is written in stone so it may change, but for now I have a few questions.

Does this refer to the Imperial Chefs? If so, how many Lunar Tokens?

He is looking for 4 different "Trophies", is it one of each?

The chefs take turns asking for ingredients. You get a lunar token for each ingredient you exchange, and you can get multiple tokens if you have more than one of any particular ingredient.

As in Chef 1 is now taking ingredients, and the others won't accept any?

Or, of the 4-5 ingredients that is credited to each of them on wiki, each chef only takes one at a time?

Is there a limit?

IE if a chef is taking alpine seeds, can you turn in a whole stack?

You can turn in as many ingredients as you have while a chef is asking for it. I don't know if you can turn in previous ingredients after he has started asking for another. And you must wait until a chef asks for a particular ingredient before he will accept it, as far as I know. I never tried.

A few guilds also sponsor this event in that they turn up at specific district and have all the ingredients needed to get the maximum reward.

Thanks to their efforts this event has been in the past a lot of fun.

If I recall correctly they accept one item at a time. Not sure if they will accept it from multiple players though.

my guild / alliance sponsors a district or two every Canthan New Year and we are planning to the same for the next one.

The chefs will accept ingredient 1, from any player, for a while. Then, they'll stop asking for that ingredient (and won't accept any more) and start asking for ingredient 2 and only accept that ingredient and so on.

P.S. Do note that the canthan new year has nothing to do with wintersday - that's two separate holidays.

When Canthan New Year comes around (Early February) check guru or other GW forums for "sponsored" districts. [KISS] Always has one or two that they do. What this means is the members of the Guild/Alliance provide the chefs with their items all day long for said district and everyone in them gets to reap the benefits of sitting back and enjoying the show.

the chefs will ask for ingredients...while they are asking you can give them as many as you want (one at a time...you will have to click for each separate one)....when that chef asks for a different ingredient he will no longer accept any previous ingredients he has asked for;
as many players as wish can give him the ingredient he is asking for at about the same time...
I usually try to have a bunch of some of the ingredients (save up all year for them--there is a list and it doesnt change---and some of the ingredients are harder to get--eg smoking remains).....and I usually try to get to a district that is not sponsored so that that district at least gets something.(my guild is tooooooooo small to sponsor anything)
