Really ? Was gold+max Krytan Axe a possible drop from mobs ever? Didn't know that , i also assumed that it dropped from HoH chest only.

I am pretty sure they still drop just from mobs that aren't really farmed. I have gone on farming sprees outside of toa in the past which is where to find some of these items. The forest minotaurs, reed stalkers, fog nightmares, and hill giants are the creatures to farm if you want double bladed axes and lots of these sort of items. I am pretty sure krytan axes still drop from said creatures.

The ones I always was interested in but couldn't ever farm them easy enough or fast enough for strange drops are these guys:

They are easy to farm in NM but of course the drops suck as they are low level, however in hard mode they are a pain to farm although I do believe I was able to kill them with either a 600 or 55 monk just it was tedious and difficult.

Oh, I thought "Krytan Axe" along with a few other specific items (like noninsc., Tyrian-skin/dye "Serpent Axe" and "Crystalline Sword") were on this list of stuff that only ever drops from unkeyed chests, not from foes or keyed chests ever. So the only gold, noninsc ones must've come from HoH chest before it went inscribable ... or maybe those reallllly old keyless chests in Dreadnought's Drift I think it was. All the remaining keyless chests drop only purples, right?

Have I had the wrong idea all these years?

Not gonna lie, Fred, I'm pretty jealous of that Amber Staff, even if it's not 20/20. I especially like the +1 (19%) Illusion mod to make it a (kind of) four-profession imperfect staff

Now it just needs a 19% adept staff head so that it's got yet another type of 19% mod (since, if I'm not mistaken, it would say "item's attribute" instead of "death magic" on the pre-nerfs). If only you could have customized it to do +19% damage!

Hmmmm, more 19's is never a problem...although then I would have find a new home for that awesome +1e staff head. And I also wish I could have custo'ed for +19% instead of 20%. I would have payed more for that....

Started the Naked Collection one month ago now!

My prized collection is rather eclectic!

I used to collect max dual vamps as well, but they aren't very interesting! During previous collecting of low-req stuff, I happened across those Axes and decided that it would be awesome to find some more for my collection, and eventually found the Sunqua Blade here on Guru. Just last night I traded the rest of my low-reqs (non-vamp) for the super pretty Short Sword from Fred!

The oddest thing about my collection is that I think the lower-damage and higher-req one of these have, the cooler! I use the Sunqua for time killing in PvP, and will start cycling / loaning the others out to guildies as soon as I properly finish swapping the mods. Hopefully I can find some more, although these are almost impossible to find since hardly anyone plays the lower-end content anymore, or keeps these non-max drops >_>

nah, I put the screen together with the stats of the cele shield right at it´s left and the frame and name of the Defender above - u see no gold value therefore. So if anybody has - I want!
