I was referring to seeing Kromp online. I was busy & set to "DnD" at the time & when I was done he was no-longer online. Max has spoken of seeing Kromp online at times too. Can't blame him, if I had a massive collection of OS collectables & I retired from the game, after a while I would still want to jump online & swim in my money bin...err I mean look through my stash, if not just for old time sakes.

As for me, I've logged on a couple of times recently, just to run my hands over some of my old toys. They're still fun to look at, especially the items that recall days in Tyria that are (sadly) long gone.

Well, I didn't come by to get into an argument or to defend Kabong from nebulous charges of not selling the things he likes. After all, who makes a habit of selling the things they like when they don't need the money? Do you actually know anyone who DOES do this (in GW or in real life)? It sounds like you're still unhappy about a deal that you couldn't make work once upon a time. Sorry to hear about that.

There are traders, and then there are collectors. Kabong (and Kromp too) is a collector. Meaning he gathers the items he wants, and keeps them. In fact I'd say those two are the finest collectors the game has ever seen. He doesn't need to sell his items, nor does he want to.
I've tried a few times to get my hands on Kromp's r8-2-2 eternal, but he won't sell it, and I respect that. It's his prerogative
If I collected stacks of wood and didn't want to sell them, you could offer several million armbraces, but if I'm determined not to sell then you're not gonna get them.
Traders are in it for pure profit, but it's the collectors who get the respect.

Id say its ridiculous because he has absolutely no use with the ecto, he collected the best hammers that have ever existed, what would he spend it on? with all that ecto, he has no interest in anything else other than rarer items which is unlikely to be floating around(unconditionals), which kromp has.

Kabong has always looked after me. I brought my first Q8 +5e Zodiac from him for a very reasonable price....sure it's not a hammer but still. Oh, and I can't list the number of times I logged into Lion's Arch and he was there spammin "WTS SWAMP CLUB" for hours. Actually, that's how we first met. He always had the time to talk.

Here is my beloved collection. When the first everlasting tonics came out, I was still clueless about how to play guild wars and owning just one seemed like an unachievable goal. I've had a lot of fun collecting them over the years and I'd like to thank all the people I've played with who - by putting up with me in DoA, UW and GHSC - have made this possible!
