You guys should look the old "post your weapons Thread Part I, II and III"

Eventho 95% images there are dead, stil gives better image from time before i made this thread, used look that thread from start to over dozens times every year back in day and everytime saw new items, and even now same happens eventho most images dead.

Id do anything if could turn all those images back to alive..

I vaguely remember seeing a Q8 +30/-5/20 Magmas in those threads before the images when dark... I know there is a discussion about if one exists, but a am 80% sure I saw one posted.... guess I could have been wrong.

To anybody who wonders why I keep banging the OldSchool vs non-inscribable drum, these items are why. These are OldSchool. Not some non-inscribable wooden buckler that dropped last week. OldSchool = cannot drop any more.

But the masses don't use it that way. The masses use OldSchool to mean non-inscribable, regardless of its age, and so there's no point trying to change it now :/

Well max. the items like that which dropped back in 2005, are now changed look exacly like ones that you can get dropped today, unless they got nerfed mods. so Tower shield q11 28hp cripple looks exacly same now as one that dropped in 2005, so you cant say which are OS and which not, example longsword q12 14^50 dropped in 2005 looks exacly same, and it is oldschool duh, probably way older then most nerfed weps! :P

Thats why its way simpler just say nerfed, or not nerfed, because you cant allways see the age on items

I was going to make an alteration to that effect. It's s grey area, but I think my opinion is based on the general nostalgia for the items that no longer drop, and a shift in the use of OS over time.

agreeing with pleikki on this point, the term for cannot drop anymore is 'pre-nerf' and thats just what people seem to have agreed on at some point.
and yeah a q9 15^50 longsword could have dropped in mid 2005 and it would still look like one that drops today which is just as oldschool

Ah yes, but OS used to mean the same as pre-nerf. They were one and the same.

But OS changed to include anything non-inscribable over time.

This isn't the place for this discussion though, so I'll shut up now.

Yeah not right place so ill just add my last cents here.
So yeah the Oldschool changed to meanin non inscriable when Nightfall was released and inscriable items started dropping.
making non inscriable = oldschool, before that there were just normal items. and around same time most nerfs also happened.

but for the nerfs that happened before nightfall, the term 'pre-nerf' should have applied and in the period of time between those nerfs and nightfall release 'oldschool' could have also been the word to describe it (just guessing here, dont know what ppl called it), which is indeed before oldschool meant uninsc

or be they could come currupt and start thinking on their own becoming aware of their own potential of becoming rulers of the entire game forcing everyone to be slaves. but maybe just maybe if a few people, not me because I was 8 and dont remember anything from them about this game, besides I had a warrior and i loved to play and sit at divinity cost. JUST MAYBE if people rember these old pixels as OS they will be peaceful, and never hurt our beloved game that is a decade old. JUST MAYBE they could be plotting right now if they have become corrupt O_O the theory is out there!!!! REMEMBER THESE PIXELS OR THEY WILL DESTROY US ALL

Here is my beloved GuildWars collection, only missing my remaining crappy Magmas shields that I have yet to sort(most good ones included tho).

I regret selling my old Q7 Jug the most, but parting with a few Magmas shields has enabled me to expand in other directions I never thought possible.
