There is a certain sense of pride associated with seeing some of your own treasured items finding a new home in deserving collections. I call it smug mode. I know you know this feeling, EK. Right now, I'm feeling extra smug. Partly because the r8 eternal I sold to Emma has become part of a cherished weapon set from an increasingly epic collection. And partly because selling my old Tall shields to EK has enabled him to assemble THAT collection of amazing items. I agonised for a very long time about letting my duplicates go. In the end. I realised that sitting on a pile of amazing items is one thing but shaping that pile into something even more special is another level all together.
And so it came to pass that some of my treasured shields have departed the pile in order to become part of other amazing collections, and I could not be more proud of where they went to. I'm proud to know there are others who cherish the ancient relics as much as I do. Nice work, both of you.

In truth, I cannot remember. Until fairly recently I had 3 r7/16 dual reduction Tall Shields. I'm now down to just the one - the daddy of them all with -2/stance and -2(10%) (but I only need one). EK and I were wondering something similar, and he thinks the r7 tall he now owns (again) is the one he sold to me a few years ago when I was in my 'gotta catch em all' phase... Which means Ward's old one was sold a few months ago because apparently r7/16 -2-2 is useful for high end PvP.

1st Earlier this week on friday i finished certain goal that have kept my busy for last half year and got my new ele a Gwamm!
But Today! Finally i hit 70 different q8 15^50 Weapons, Customized on my warrior! I wanna thank everyone whove sold me these within last months making this collection Possible!
Now i can again turn more inactive in peace knowing ive reached 2 goals ive had in guild wars

gz Pleikki on hitting the 70 different - you seem to be like 2/3 on the path to all different skins - go get the others - shouldn´t take too long based on how long it took you to get the 70 :P I guess a linear regression should work perfectly *erhm...
and it seems like you now found the proper counterparts for those magmas shields, EK! awesome items there :O
and Emma worked a lot as well - meh you guys really make it hard to feel proud of ones own collection :P (I like that SSS on your mage - such perfect - much wow^^) I think you didn´t show us all the +1 shields there...
and all those other collections :O

Yes, the Tall is Pawnings old one. I Originally bought it & then was talked into selling it to Poke-Max, during his gotta catch em all phase.
It has now come full circle & has returned to me. I really regretted parting with it, & I was very happy to be given the chance to own it again.(Thanks Max!)

As you may know, I have been refining my collection to make it even more special by creating my opus magnae: one of each requirement for each of the 17 possible skins with Pre-Nerf dual reduction mods. As a result, some high profile shields have departed in order to finance others.
I now have complete sets of all available requirements for Magmas Shields and Eternal Shields, with a few other sets close to completion.
And i now finally have at least one of each skin, and a total of 59.
Special thanks go to Cracky for the Stone Summit Shield, Rushin Roulette for the two Tower Shields, and Sneaky Ranger for the final piece (the r11) of my Eternal Shields set.
