Change to Paragon Hero AI

This is a small change, but having started using Paragon heroes to blast myself through the Wintersday stuff with dual incoming I've come to realise that the way they use Aggressive Refrain is pretty crap.

Currently they renew it very regularly, I imagine it must be when the original duration runs out, regardless of whether it has been renewed by a shout. This is a massive drain on energy, particularly when you are playing with a team smaller than 8.

I propose that the AI should be changed so that the hero will only cast it if it is within 3 seconds of ending. The skill is supposed to be good because with a decent number of shouts you only need to cast it once.

Thanks.

Noticed this also yesterday while doing paraspike with 3 heroes vs zaishens . However , i think it's just about skills themselves. They're like using shouts randomly , thus it then worked fine when I in fact had all bar under control. But yes , maybe it would be better if they used those skills smarter...

This is new behavior that was added with War in Kryta. They cast aggressive refrain outside of combat, but as noted renew it regardless of it already being up.

This is easily solved by disableing AR and then casting it manually whenever you enter an area or mission. AoF will maintain it between battles, so you can just keep it disabled and don't have to worry about recasting it unless the hero dies.

An even easier solution:

Put Anthem of flame on a hero, they spam it on recharge, maintaining any refrains you like in and out of combat.

Found this out a while ago, suggested on here someone should change wiki, but nothing so far.

If they have some low-cost shout or chant that recharges faster, like the Anthems of Flame and Weariness, they should use that instead to recharge the refrain.

Heroes will use AoF to maintain AR but if AR isn't disabled, they will still recast it occasionally, gobbling up 25 energy in the process. Of course having AoF on a hero is kinda necessary with AR but it is also necessary to manually use it at the start of an area too so that you dont have to worry about your hero recasting it.

So you want a part of code re-written, when all you have to do is manually micro AR?
What person takes a para and doesn't take AoF?

Explains why I never noticed.

This is a good temporary solution. Still, I think the AI should be fixed.
