I'd rather they spent the time on something real,like I dunno maybe the whole dervish update thing.

bizarre thought here - why not a jingle dervish - at least then anet can say they did both a jingle this year and a "derv" update to please everyone :P

Wait... why should we be asking for a new pet?
We can't just ask for random things. And besides even if they do add one, just one simple pet takes alot longer then u expect

Well someone in the team must have thought it a good idea to give up the Jingle companions we do have.

I was expecting a new one this year probably wolf though hoped for something else.

I guess yopu could keep adding Jingle animals till every one was represented which is a little silly.

Best to create some lore as to why the Jingle creatures exist and how many species there are and go from there.

Reindeer would be the best imo Spider though a little strange would also be good.

Why not just add the Jingle Moas that spawn in the Secret Lair of the Snowman?
They aren't white, so they wouldn't be exactly like the ones now. And they are already in game, no need to create a new one. Just gotta make them tamable.

Hm... the red festive moas would make sense. But there must be some reason why they didn't use those in the first place.

I have never seen a reindeer attacking. All the ones I've seen are neutral with limegreen names, and never attack.

There was just this discussion the other day on alliance chat in my guild, and we decided we want a new jingle pet.

Unanimously that was Jingle Dhumm!

Yeah! Dhumm with a jingle collar and maybe a Santa hat. Maybe some decorations on his scythe.

Now wouldn't that be cool?

oh jingle crab would be cool....but where would the collar and bells be on them (I have a pack of crabs with my mes/r....all her rangers have crab pets).

i so want a new jingle pet. i mean if they can make one for the last two years why not now? it should be hard to reskin one. they did it for the moa and bear.

I don't need something that I will just dump into my menagerie and leave there.

I'm indifferent about it I will be ohhhhh new pet must have then it will just waste away in the menagerie within the week.

Meh, just another pet I wouldn't use. But, I wouldn't be opposed to Anet adding it.

Meh. I actually don't like the jingle pets, sure it's fun and novel but if I want a polar bear or white moa there is no chance I'm going to bring the jingle versions, it makes them look lame.

I think I've only seen one person use a jingle pet since they were released, but I think that's largely due to the fact that pets suck really bad in GW1 and 95% of the time no ranger will ever bring one.

While I don't think it takes a huge investment of resources to make a jingle pet (add bells to random white animal that already exists) I would far rather they invest there time into something I might actually use like a new weapon skin or festival hat or something.

The jingle bear already existed as an art asset for a Wintersday quest in Elona. The jingle moa was very similair to the art asset that already existed in the wintersday moa in one of the EotN dungeons.

Bells on the claws. Maybe not a collar. I envision it sporting a santa hat and scuttling sideways.
