I was wondering why guild wars guru does not put a build page in. Basically there are other sites that do this, although some have imploded while others have not spent the time to maintain their own site. I feel it would be a great time to do the same thing here, I’m sure there’s a washout process for each class and build, but they are lost in the record of events arranged chronologically by years .
Easily enough it can have just the basic information such as a picture bar of the build, the game encode meant and attributes. In a brief description: such as place how to use and armors.
I find myself going to other sites and being very disappointed for one of the these reasons.
Either they are not maintained
Or there is an elitist attitude.
Overall I find guild wars guru and excellently run site with good help, good administration, why not having this last feature.

I'm not sure if you have seen PvX Wiki yet, but that sounds exactly what you are looking for. It's continuously maintained by the community and always up to date.

To expand on Kvinna's response, we are trying to not duplicate something that is done excellently somewhere else. PvXWiki is run and maintained by people who really understand what they are doing and are dedicated to provide quality builds for the players of Guild Wars.

To put in my two cents worth, guru does not have enough staff to copy what gwpvx.com (new PvXwiki domain name) is doing. You can't just allow the posting of random builds in such a section because many times they are not that functional. A posted build requires testing by several people to determine if it is to receive a great/good/bad rating.

The system in place now on guru, whereby a member can look for a suitable build on gwpvx and then post it in the correct Campfire section for comment or alteration for a specific use works great. Members get the best of both sides without guru having a poorly updated section with questionable builds and stuffed with complaints.

In addition, gwBBCode can't be used on guru as, I believe, it corrupts the vBulletin auto-email system.
