When doing the protector title track(for cantha at the moment), is there a way to check which missions you've already met the requirements for the title? Thanks.

Pull up your map, check for crossed swords and a spear vertically through the mission, indicating completion.

Here's a problem you're going to run into:

When you get to Eye of the North's equivalent of this title track, the completed/incompleted won't be as easy to find.

In EotN, you get a combined Protector/Guardian/Vanquisher/Cartographer title -- "Master of the North". To get it, you still have to do all the storyline missions in normal mode and also in hard mode. You also have to do all the dungeons once in each mode, and then vanquish/unfog all the eotn zones.

Since the storyline missions in EotN aren't outposts with icons that change (get swords through them, or whatnot) they're harder to see. You have to look around the map for little "signposts" that are about 12x12 pixels wide. Pretty frustrating if you're trying to keep track.

So, when it comes time for you to work on this title, get yourself some books. Get one each of the Hero's Handbook and the Master Dungeon Guide, in normal mode and hard mode. Four books total. Then go fill them until all four are 100% full. That way, you have an at-a-glance reference for the Master of the North title track's Protector/Guardian aspects.

And hey, when you have all four filled, you can turn them in for some MASS rep and gold.

It's a good thing that EotN isn't involved with the Protector/Guardian titles in any way, shape or form.

But there is still Master of the North, which is essentially protector, guardian, cartographer and vanquisher mixed into one title, so in a way, it sort of is.

Ok. Thanks. I haven't really done a whole lot with EotN yet anyways(that is really worth getting Master of the North yet), so I not really worrying about that one yet, but thanks.

There are also storyline books available for the 3 campaigns in NM and HM;

Flameseekers Prophecies can ge found in LA from Loremaster whatsihisname (Cant remember his whole name, but hes close to the bottom Xunlai Chests)

Shiros Return can be found in Kaineng Centre at the Kurzick Poet or Luxon Bard.

Night Falls Can be found in Sunspear Gret hall (Sunspear signalman) or Chantry of Secrets (Scrivener of Secrets).

These are also a great way to keep track of the Protector Guardian titles (You will have to pay 100g for any mission that you have already completed to fill the pages, but it is worth it for when you hand in a full book). However they dont cover the NM Noob area missions. The Young Heroes of Tyria (can be found at any of the above collectors) covers those missions, but only in HM.

Yeah, but whilst Eye of the North is similar to those titles it is no way connected to nor bares any impact on the progress of those titles for Tyria, Cantha or Elona, and the 'Legendary' titles for completing the threee continents for Vanquisher, Guardian or Cartographer

The OP's initial question said "for cantha at the moment", so that was what I replied to.

The Books do not cover all of the missions. Anything prior to LA, not sure of other 2 chapters, are not included in the books. So using the map option in Prophecies, Factions, & NF is the only way to be sure.

I never said that the Master of the North title was involved, or connected to Protector, or Guardian or Vanquisher, etc... I was just trying to offer extra info.

The books also do not track bonus/master completion, but only beating the mission.

Best way to keep track is always the map.
