Not sure if this is in the right area but....
I was wondering if anyone knew if My Outrageously high ping is on Anet side or my side
Browser ping tests come out to ~50
Guild wars ping- Never below 300 sometimes as high as 60,000+
If it is on my side would anyone happen to know a fix?
Thanks in Advance:P

I was getting some of these really high pings about an hour or so ago. A guildie of mine actually lost comm after getting one too (We were both in EE1 doing Blacktide Den). Normally we're getting avg pings of ~200 but mine spiked up to 5k. Getting a lot of rubber banding too.

Happened last year -- I remember solidly freezing in the American districts of Eye of the North -- probably happens every year.

Seems to be fine for me. Kentucky here and no spikes or anything.
A little thing I noticed, using texmod and KSmod seems to cause a bit of lag. Just from my experience.

So basically just wait it out?

Guild wars servers don't handle festival net load very well. I avoid festival areas like the plague.

I`ve been running 2 accounts for farming Snowball Dominance since Day1, no lag at all yet :P

Haven't had any trouble with lag this year. Last year's event I had horrible lag.
