Help? The Great Snowball Fight of the Gods

The Great Snowball Fight of the Gods..

Bear with me I just started playing GW like 2 weeks ago.. lol

Anyways The Great Snowball Fight of the Gods is a pain in the bleeping butt.. I never can find the beacons and I die a bunch. Any advice on this quest and where on Gods bleepin earth are the beacons? Map anyone? Thanks.

Edit: I figured it out.. Oh.. do we get holiday hats from this?

You get the festival hats from the finale of the event, which takes place on January 2nd in both Kamadan and Lion's Arch. The finale occurs every 3 hours, starting at 3:00 am EST.

Why not try "Strength of Snow!" and the other quest like the rest of us, always good to prepare for dissapointment, you can join the wth am I doing club (mini polar bear)

Ps. Hats you get near the end of event, I lolled at someone in LA who said this years hats gonna be bunny ears and 3d glasses, they prolly right

don't worry that you've only been playing for 2 weeks, i tried it with hench and heroes (maybe not the best idea, but still) after nearly 3 years of playing and i can't get past half way D:!
(p.s. try pressing U for the minimap, which sohuld have the beacon locations on)
don't be afraid to post a party search in Lion's arch or temple of ages, and don't let any players get you down (some PuG's can have some nasty people in if you're unlucky).

Ha thanks I don't feel so bad taking 30 mins then.. I keep trying different strategies.. 10 mins seems impossible!
