Hey everyone, I'm going to be out of state for the finale starting this weekend. Has anyone heard any word on if they will have the Wintersday Hat Giver again this year? Or perhaps the Redux? I doubt they will do the whole Redux again but I think the Hat Giver should be a permanent feature in Wintersday from here on out.
I didn't read anything on the wiki or official site about them having him this year, but I don't check everywhere or very completely :P

It's unlikely, though not impossible. He was created to allow people who, due to ArenaNet system problems, were unable to get into the game for the finale. Hopefully, we won't have similar problems this year.

Do you have someone you trust to go boot it up and log into the game? That way you could get at least one hat.

But it depends on the players since its a game going on where you have to stand in rings, either even or odd. But according to wiki, players usually cooporate so that odd districts give the grenth hat, and even gives the dwayna hat. Could be the oposite, not 100% sure.

According to posts elsewhere, there are not only different hats, but also some scepters. This might be a case of Grenth and Dwayna in LA and Balthazar and Melandru in Kamadan. How old is your brother? Can he cope with getting you to four different finale events?

I saw the thing about scepters too, and something about a bunch of flowers for an offhand? Not sure what they got planned. My brother is 15 so I sure hope is up to the task. 
I'll make sure to call him and leave him a note by my computer letting him know to just put me in LA for a couple hours then come back after such and such time and put me in Kamadan for a couple more, then have him shut off the comp.
