Over the past month or so my desktop computer has had major problems. To help solve them, I got myself a Win7 upgrade disc to wipe everything off my computer (and I kind of wanted to upgrade anyway).
Well, my Linksys PCI Adapter isn't being recognized by my computer now. It did not come with a disc to install it, and when I put it in my computer 4 years ago it worked without needed a disc. It is a Linsys PCI Adapter Model WMP54G.
Now my desktop has no internet connection and I can't run a caple across my entire house to plug in a LAN cable.
Is there anyway to get my desktop to recognize the adapter? (I have tried removing adapter and placing it back in)
EDIT:
Never mind...I found some driver software and downloaded it to a flash drive, opening from the flash drive on the desktop fixed it.
