I can't find these last spots to look for cartographer so i decided to use texmod to show me. The program is fine and i downloaded the elona map from the wiki, but when i run GW with texmod and open my map...theres no changes to my map unlike what every tutorial says (it should be there). thanks ^^

Are you loading the Cartography made Easy mod into texmod when you launch it? The player made mods are available on the wiki....sorry i don't have the link handy.

What you should be doing:

1) Download TexMod and the Cartography Made Easy file (I'm using the complete collection one).
2) Run TexMod.
3) Click the folder in the 'Target Application' section and select gw.exe.
4) Set TexMod to 'Package Mode' (should be like that by default) and click on the little folder inside the 'Select Packages' section. Find and select the Cartography Made Easy Complete Collection.tpf file.
5) Click 'Run'. There should be a noticable delay as it will take a bit of time for the texture to be applied.

I'm doing exactly what you're saying and there is a delay and gw eventually opens up with the red text in the top left corner but when i click 'm' or 'u' theres no difference in the map. does the + - have anything to do with it?

You're not following my instructions exactly. The red text and +/- are for obtaining textures from in game, not using ones you already have. You need to be in Package Mode, not Logging Mode. If all you want to do is use textures, that video you linked isn't going to help much. Ignore it.

It should look like this:

so the logging mode has nothing to do with the modded maps? and basically only stay in package mode and click run from the pane?

Yes. Logging Mode and the videos you've been looking at are for making your own. To use existing ones, follow the instructions I posted earlier.

Logging mode is for creating mods. Package mode is for running mods you already have (like carto made easy).

The parts that are solid grey cannot be explored. The parts that are clear you have explored. The parts covered by grey but have explorable areas underneath still need to be explored.

I did exactly as you explain. Start GW with texmod (no delay), but nothing chages on map.
