Texmod not working,what have i forgotten?

The next titles im going to max is Carthographer, and therefor using texmod
but i just cant get it to work!
ive downloaded the most used link of texmod,
added it to my exeptions,
used "-image" to get all the textures
checked my firewall, and its added to exeptions there too
but it just doesnt work...
any1 got any more tips?

Have you retried loading GW though texmod?
Sometimes the Game needs to update, and although you started GW through texmod, the update will nullify the mods in game, until you reloaded.
That's the only problem I can think of at the moment.

One thing that I experienced was Texmod not loading the package, although a package was selected. The problem stemmed from me not having the package highlighted in the box before clicking on the "Run" button.

Ive highlighted it, did that from start.do you mean download a new update via texmod?

actually it's' best to start up GW normally so the update is done. then use Texmod afterwards.

What operating system are you using?

Are you running text mod as admin?

I'm on Win7 and as long as I run it as admin it works fine.

Just tried that aswell, but ive tried it before, still doesnt work...gahwd

Edit: Just saw that i could disable my antivirus(totally) for an certain ammount of time, didnt work that either...

Do other mods work in TexMod? Have you tried anything other than the cartographer mod? Which version of the cartography mod are you using?

No, other mods doesnt work either, cant make my own(the +\- thing) mods,
and whenever i start texmod(or eaven the map) my comp slows down alot, and the map usually stops to respond for a few seconds...
im using v0.9b.

Having more than 1 copy of GW?
I have 4 and texmod starts playing up after every game update

i do actually, i think i got 3-4 more copies for gwmultilaunch...
Should i just delete them?

No just try a different copy
I havent had time to figure it out how exactly "texmod thinking" shifts around after the game update

If you didn't have the latest version (I assume thats what you meant) you would not be able to connect to the Servers and thus not play.



You could say please. No one likes people who demand you help them.

You could ya know...Tell us whats wrong.
You could tell us what anti-virus you're using.
You could tell us whether it's giving you an error or if guild wars just won't start when you hit run or if it will start but there is no change.
You could tell us what mod your running with texmod.
You could tell us what steps you yourself have taken to try and fix it (i.e. everything in this thread).
ect. and so forth.

Did you put these in to try and be annoying or does it come naturally?
