Dunno if this was up here before, but just my thought.. I'd like to see some new tonics, I know it ain't gonna happen, but wishful thinking, right?

I know some might be available in mysterious tonic, but i want to be able to change in them at will

My top 5:
1. (by far) Saltspray Dragon Tonic (I'd pay everything I have for an el one of those )
2. Stygian Lord/Heart tormentor (since they're the same design)
3. Greater Dream Rider/Banished Dream Rider
4. Terror/Tortureweb Dryder
5. Panda (I like Panda's )

My 2 cents^^ Any other ideas are welcome

None, retired to GW2.

Wouldn't mind this as long as they don't make only a handful of any new EL tonics.

Tonics were a nice idea but cannot help thinking they are a failure in the way they work in the game.

There are so many of them around and they last so long that pretty much everyone could be something else all the time, anyone else think that's a little strange.

They have no use outside of towns but the idea of them as a disguise in the game seems an obvious use.
Wouldn't mind a potion that disguised me as one species and let me move as they do perhaps make them friendly for a short time.

I haven't really focused on the idea I just think they are a decorative item that's pretty much an annoyance in towns a lot of the time.
I think they could have potential in the game to be so much more without being another ott power to thrash the game with.

only tho if its not like the new el tonics(henchmen+reindeer) whihc only a few people have and are just an insane amount of money(im talking like 400 armbraces or more). But i could see maybe at least the el tormented one being added to DoA and the dreamrider+dyder being added to the UW end chest.

And i agree i would pay a fair and hefty price for an el saltspray dragon. just finished collecting the monthly el tonics, so some el tonics that don't cost an arm and a leg(but maybe in the 200e range?) came into the market. We just don't need more el tonics like the reindeer floating around where only the top good artist/extremely wealthy have them.

You do understand the phrase, beauty is in the eye of the beholder right? The whole 'your feelings on interpreting your senses are completely subjective'? You might find them an annoyance in towns but I think they liveen up the place.

Sure they could have done something more practical but they'd kinda change the dynamic of the game mechanics if they changed how you interact with the enemy npcs.

They're simply a talking point, something to increase the social aspect. Sure aren't we talking about them now?

"Pre-nerf" is incorrect. It's pre-buff.

Instead of the saltspray dragon, I'd like a celestial dragon from Nahpui Quarter.

Who else wants an Everlasting Astronomic Draconic Tonic?

Titan tonics would be cool too, especially if over time the titan "died" and you change into the other titans. Like 3 tonics in one!
Margonite Tonics-a Drop from Mallyx's chest perhaps?

Annoyance was perhaps overstated it can be annoying when you get several golem's or other giant forms blocking your view but that is all.

Ooh, that's a neat idea (btw I am allowed to post in here before the 24h span, right? Cause methinks that's only in ventari..) Although it's a tough task to change the AI I think.. Would be cool to transform into an ooze, hop through Ooze pit, and just kill the endboss unseen xD

And, margonite tonic for sure! I think the should drop from the City chest actually, and you should have like a couple different ones, Rund, Su, and Ki or something. Oh, and 1 Jadoth tonic, that's exactly the same as the rund, only you're twice as big xD
I think they should drop from city chest, because that's where they were originally created.. That's their birthplace, so that would be more logical. Although, City can be done in 5-6minutes in HM so they would be easily farmed... If they drop from Mallyx, that would be a good excuse for us to do Mallyx instead of only SC's xD

Disguise occurs a couple of times in the game There is a nightfall mission where you get into a city in disguise then fight your way out.

There is also one in the Southern shiverpeaks where you enter a mine disguised as a slave.

I wouldn't like it to be so ott as to ruin the game even more just a bit of fun really.
As I said haven't really thought it through, its probably as mad as my thoughts on minipet races or someone else who wanted minipet zoo and minipet combat.

But hey whatever amuses the players is good.

2011 is the year of the Rabbit. 2012 is year of the dragon.

But yes Tahmu would be nicer than a Saltspray dragon
