Hey, i hope this is the right section.
I just thuoght you guys would know about this sort of thing.
Theres a gamecube game or two that were only available in the US and i live in the UK. So if i were to get them, what mehtods would yuo suggest iuse in order to play them.
I currently own a UK Wii so im able to play the UK games on there and idon't own any version of the gamecube. Gamecubes aren't that expensive, i could always get a US Console but would need different power cables i believe.
There is also freeloader methods im not that knowledgable on, would a gamecube freeloader disc enable me to play the US game on my UK wii?
Or should i get a UK Gamecube with freeloader software?
Greatful for any assistance of anyone on this.
the games i want are the Megaman Anniversary editions

The TV system in the UK is different from the system used in the USA, particularly in respect to the vertical refresh rate (50 vs 60) and the number of horizontal lines (I forget the numbers atm). This could cause problems when trying to play US games on a UK system (or it might not).
If you hook the Wii to a computer monitor (or some TVs) the format differences may not be a problem, provided that the Wii itself has no problem displaying it. There could be some distortion of the aspect ratio - it could look stretched or squashed.
The best thing would ofc be if someone who has actually done this posts a reply.

I'm not sure what you mean by "how". You stick the US disc into your UK machine - it either works or it doesn't.

For the PS3 owners, it's not a problem since there's no region lock whatsoever, meaning you can play any game from anywhere on any PS3, yay!.
The Xbox 360 also has a region lock so foreign games may or may not work.
EDIT: The no region lock on the PS3 only applies to games, movies from other regions etc. still won't work.
