Was trying to do Elona cartography, only to find I can't do the Remains of Sahlahja (Dynastic Tombs) challenge mission.

I hate solo missions, I am rubbish at them, and even more rubbish inside a worm.

I don't think I will find enough of the map to make up the 1.8% that Dynastic Tombs adds to catography, I only have a few small area's not uncovered and I need another 2.4%

Well you can use an item like War Supplies to give you natural health regeneration back cause it counter acts the -1 degen from the area, that might help

Adding to this:

Spirits with long durations (Vampirism, Bloodsong, Pain, etc.) can be used as distractions. And if you can afford them, red rock candies are a lifesaver.

I hated this one too.

Hated it when I explored for the title years ago and hated it when I wanted the armours for HoM

But I worked out how to get through, thanks to wiki- took me a few tries each time. just stick at it Hun, you can do it and then you will never have to go there again

Indeed but why do that when learning to use the wurms can end in the same result without spending money and improves your skills with wurms.

If you can manage to camp the center and kill a few few spirits to get the gates open, you can just run where you need to go to scrape the map.

As above, if I recall, when you kill enough (or do enough) of whatever to open the gates, you can simply use running skills and/or candies to run through the area to map it. Also, if I recall, the gates that open are random, so you may need to do it a few times to get to all the areas.
