Sucks is relative, it's a good, friendly and social alliance and gameplay-wise we have runs for UW, FoW, dungeons, vanqs, missions, pvp and so on pretty much every day which are successful.

So if you're a casual player who likes to chat and play with a good group of people KISS is for you.

Just got back too.
Stopped playing @ Factions and now got back. I'm trying a new Dervish and boy i'm rusty.. Too much time in WoW made me stupid i guess, can't kill that Apocrypha with mah D/Mo.

I was away for over a year, mostly due to my computer expiring on my, but now I am back. I really didn't know just how much I missed this game until I started to play once more. Things haven't changed that much in the last year save for the HoM reward items skyrocketing in value.

I have been doing the War in Kryta and the Hearts of the North to get back into the flow of things. At first I thought they were rediculusly hard, but then I remembered how to build a good skill bar, and good heroes to complitment it. Lost my templates when I lost my old computer.

Today I had the most fun since I have been back doing something that I used to do all the time, explore. I have my Paragon in Proph but never did much with it, just went to sanctum cay and then did the desert/southern shiverpeaks to get infused before the last three missions. That meant I skipped most all of the Kryta area's, most of which I now need for the Hearts of the North quests. So, to make this long story short, I just fought my way from Temple of the Ages through 6 maps to get to Ventari's Refuge and it was a BLAST!

Much as I expect to get flamed for this last bit....I really can't wait for full hero parties!

This thread makes me feel soo good! I felt soo lost and thought that EVERYONE else knew Exactly what they were doing!

Looking at builds - geeesh - what to use NOW vs THEN - reading evertying I can find on the different prof combos, areas, henchmen, skills, weapon/armor upgrades - not to mention the new additions like the hero's and areas!!

I have pages of notes I have taken trying to get an idea of where to go, how to lay out my character (again now vs then), how to change 2nd prof, how to get Faction characters to Nightfall area and get them a hero..........then a NPC will say something about "Sunspear Promotion Points" and I am lost all over again and on a brand new search for info LOL

OVERWHELMING is all I can say.......but it does make me feel better that I am not the only one!

AND I am really enjoying the journey - even tho I have characters that are blind and crippled (is that okay to say? kinda politically incorrect I think? ). These characters need to get new glasses and better leg braces to continue in a progressive manor..........
