What warrior ranger build would you reccomend for the underworld? I may try and change my second profession to monk or learn some monk healing skills.
Thanks

Warrior/Ranger Build for Underworld

UW SC pugs aren't looking for warrior primaries and usually follow a specific team build, check out PvX for team build information regarding UW (you will definitely need to view some tutorials).
If your trying to solo farm ectos, again, check out PvX.
If your dead set on using your warrior, join a guild that runs UW carefree. (Higher rate of success if you join a community that does UW, rather then dealing with pugs).

If you are considering bringing monk healing skills on a Warrior, I daresay you are not quite ready to attempt the Underworld

For underworld as a warrior, your better off using a W/MES, W/Derv, or something else. However you can farm the Fissure Of Woh as a W/Ranger using a build that focuses on damage,(not conditions) Farm the spiders in the cave, but watch out for ancient skales, theyll kill you pretty easily, You can easily sell Obsidion Shards at about 22 shards for 100K or so. not the greatest farm, but it works, or if you want to just learn basics of farming, try HM Old Ascalon, that is if you have beat Prophecies.

Im going to make a new character and do it with them once they are a high enough level. What would you reccomend a mesmer/assasin?
Saru The Boss
Assassins are generally the "staple" class in Speed Clears, and running one isn't an easy task if you aren't familiar with the Area, the Monsters, and most importantly, the build, plus you need the right equipment. If you are looking to start out in Underworld PUGs, I'd recommend making a rit (as they are used in both balanced groups and Speed Clears, and are the area's best solo farmer at the moment), then once you get familiar with the area, you can better decide whether making an assassin would be something you think you'd like to do, and you'd have a little more knowledge of what you're facing.

Sadly, with this game one problem is, that those high end become nerfed so much that they aren't very easy to try, and might be expensive if you want to get some money. If you want to have a smooth go at some of those high end areas, I would suggest FoW. In Normal Mode, it is relatively easy to go through, and with some good players, can be pretty fun. UW often requires specific builds to face the multiple difficulties of the area. Again, with people that know their way, you could still get to have some nice time in there.
If you ask to go in an area without concerns of profession, then I say you do not have the experience for the "Speed Clears" some spoke of. Or at least, it shouldn't be what you're looking for. In my opinion, you should start by learning about the game still, playing the different classes, learn about the area too. Then, you could start some nice farms and if you get some nice ppl to help start using those meta builds
It's crazy how people will always say "go on PvX, run what everyone runs" here on Guru. Not very nice for those new players that just want some new experiences anyways. Pugs assume sometimes too much out of players. I'm not saying you are a bad player, but just saying that if you don't have much character diversity, don't know too much about secondaries, you might be getting ahead of yourself. Also, if you want to do UW, or other high-end stuff... you shouldn't say things like "I'll see when I'm at the right level", you do those things when you are max level and have max attributes
Allright, hope this helps ^^
And please don't go through this game too fast, there is a lot to enjoy before mindless farming

If you want to solo farm go Rit, or you can make a Ranger/Rit which is just about as good. thats for UW, almost everything else in the game...
