What skins or attributes of a skin were removed from the game/don't drop anymore (or don't have a confirmed drop after various weapon-upgrading updates)?
With the former, I know that the Tyrian Water/Fire Staves and Swamp Clubs don't drop/were removed. With the latter, I know that Canthan staves with Restoration don't drop anymore/were removed. I'm pretty sure this isn't a complete list.
This isn't meant to be a discussion of what reqs don't drop anymore, but specifically skins/attributes of a skin.

Protective Staves with the Yakslapper skin supposedly dropped during the NF Preview or something. Or at least that was the argument on GuildWiki, where that skin was listed in the entry for the Protective Staff (until I removed it).

Has there ever been a source of Swamp Clubs other then the keyless chests? Because if there has never been another way to attain them, I find it highly doubtable that there is still a way to get them.

just like 10/10staves, 10/10sundering mods, +25vs charr mod, restoration cantha staves and so on...

Ok, here's what I can think of.
- The Yakslapper skin staff jimbo32 mentioned supposedly did drop and/or was craftable during the NF preview event as a "Sacred Staff." After the full release no more seemed to appear.
- "Cracked Axe" supposedly dropped then, too. The skin was the same as Heket Axes, just a different name. None seem to have appeared since the NF preview. (It may be worth noting here that loot from the NF preview never made it into the full game. Characters created, their progress, and any inventory acquired during the preview was wiped/deleted before the campaign's full release. During the preview, there was no access to storage.)
- We recently found out on another thread here that purple-texted Crystalline Swords with inscription slots do not drop anymore. Some dropped during the EotN preview and remained in the game since that preview specifically let us keep the loot we found and some of the storyline progress we made. However, there are no more sources for these in purple text with inscription slots.
- The "Tattered Girl's Cape" doesn't drop anymore. I don't think it has dropped since sometime in 2006 (when I first got a character out there and started looking for one myself.) Some people still have them in inventory, though.
- There are a few greens whose stats have changed (not including the update that gave all staffs 20HSR all spells as base.) "The Rockmolder" focus used to have 20 HSR all spells, but all existing versions and any new versions have 10 HSR all spells now. "Wroth's Holy Rod" used to drop with 20/20 Protection dual mods. The old ones are still in the game, but new ones drop with HSR Smiting and en+5wE mods instead.
- 15wH gold inherents. I think the max for the % +dmg while hexed mod used to be 15. It's now 20. I don't think inherent gold weapons drop with 75% of max mods anymore, but there are some old inherent gold weapons with +15% dmg while hexed out there. It's probably something like the 12^50 and 13^50 golds mentioned earlier.
- Dual - phys damage shields don't drop anymore. Link to the best explanation I've read about why from Yawgmoth in Jan. 2010.

system, you can get a 10/10 sword mod off a Tyrian quest reward item, which can be salvaged off. Don't remember it off the top of my head but I'm certain it still exists.

I've had the "prenerf" versions noted separate on the green pc thread since it went up in Nov. 09, but no one ever posted anything about them. Very few folks post any of their green trade prices there at all, though, so I don't think the lack of response is any indication that they're worthless.
I have one, too, but there's no way I would sell it to try to find current price data. It was a gift. And I don't list things for sale for offers unless I'm honestly willing to sell them.
Another removed thing which I'm reminded of in thinking about the green thread ...
There were versions of the -50 hp Grim Cesta which had a Healing Prayers requirement. The ones from the quest are always Blood Magic requirement now, but for a time the quest rewarded (sometimes, not always I think) Healing req. ones.

If Swamp Clubs dropped of Grawl in Shiverpeaks Gold/Purple, they would drop from the chests there too, and considering nearly everyone used to and a lot of people still do run Port Sledge, which is Grawl heaven, i highly doubt they drop there. Although reading about, i think maybe its time to get Hells chest running groups up and running again.

I ran over 13 000 chests in hells precipice over the last 5 years,
never seen a single swamp club. Though nothing is certain I highly doubt hells precipice is the place to look.
Also the grawls you are looking for probably are those outside of surmia, as snodaard claims he found some whites while farming for necklaces.
Though I'd like to see a screen of that because I've done my own share of necklace farming 2-3 years ago and can't recall any swamp clubs (and I think I'm good for about 5 000 necklaces in total).

Swamp Clubs dropping from Grawls in HM? Very interesting, never heard of that before, never had one drop anywhere since I've learned they're rare/valuable (and that was after the nerf, if I got any before I just didn't care and didn't remember). But what do you think about this:

Is John Hargrove the same "John" that Gaile allegedly quoted as saying r7 items could still drop a while back and has some players convinced that means there are still max r7 items dropping?
Please don't misunderstand - it's not that I'm trying to rag on devs, not at all! But I think it's a safe bet that the GW source code is REALLY complicated. I find it hard to believe there is one single ANet employee who can remember and answer every detail of what is, what is not, and what is no longer possible on que. The updates to address and fix "bugged" loot on several occasions over the years also lead me to believe these drop tables in the game are far from straight-forward to even the people working on the code.
Anyway, given acceptance that the devs are human, too, and just as prone to mistakes as the rest of us, I'm reluctant to simply take their word as gospel on all matters especially in the face of a lot of contradictory anecdotes from multiple players. :/
That's my two cents on it (in case anyone cares.)

I'm pretty sure 13%'s stopped dropping "more than a year before Hard Mode," so that Swamp Club probably didn't drop after John claims he removed Swamp Clubs ("more than a year before Hard Mode").

I know I had a white one drop while doing hard mode, I just merched it, but that was before the swamp club hype. I would have merched it anyway, that is all a big joke imo.

Swamp clubs still exist, and there used to be a few sources of them in Kryta. I'm unaware of grawl dropping them, but I don't spend my time looking into this sort of thing. If I get up the boredom I'll go scrounge around and try to get one to drop again.
