So while I am browsing guru everything is fine until I try a search or looking up someones posts and then my session crashes. This has just started very recently. Any ideas?

Got any new add-ons or anything? I have been using firefox (although with a different user agent) to view guru for awhile now. And just to check if it was something that just started I went and searched to see if it crashed and nothing happened.

user agent is irrelevant really it was me babbling.

Add-on if you don't know what it is it's more then likely irrelevant as well.

Which leads me to believe that 1) I've been incredibly lucky in having this never happen to me

or

2) there's something wrong with your firefox that maybe reinstalling would help fix.

However, I have been feeling kinda lucky lately so it's hard to say.

For me, Firefox keeps crashing on Twitter. I figure that, after enough "crash reports" and Firefox updates, it will go away.

Go download the Firefox 4 beta. It runs Guru (and Twitter) quite well. It's still got some hiccups, but it rarely crashes over sites like these.

Well this is still happening, every 10 minutes this morning.

Karate Jesus, remeber the bit where I said 'imagine you are dealing with an idiot'? when I look at the firefox site I am only offered 3.6, which is what I have anyhow.

Quite a few things seem to not work on firefox but only gwguru crashes like this.

Well, you could always try Internet Explorer (shudder).

(I didn't state it earlier, but Firefox doesn't crash on Guru for me, just Twitter that I'm aware of.)

I think it has something to do with some js in the ads/ad-logic.

That could be why no one else is getting it... if shes the only one not using that dirty dirty add-on that mods used to delete all references too (they might still?)
