13th January update, possible Dervish Update?

As the title says, is that possible?

They wouldn't need to take the servers down for something like that (they don't plan on having to take them down, but its a possibility as made apparent in saying "European players may be disconnected and unable to log in during the 2 hour duration).
It's most likely some server maintenance such as fixing connection issues, etc.

Everything is possible, but I'd say a content update is unlikely. Why would they need to take down the servers for an update, and even if they did, why would they only need to take down European servers?

I can recall 2 days where the Euro servers were not operating properly. I was able to log in to my character screen, but I could not load any of my characters because they were all in Euro districts, and American friends told me on vent that all the American servers were working fine.

Taking down the servers today for maintainence is probably to stop this problem from occurring again.

Considering they've said there would be a preview before the update, and we've not seen a preview yet, I doubt it. Also, several of the big skill updates have taken place at the end of the month, so I wouldn't look for it for another couple weeks at least.

Only the european servers are getting the Dervish update

Maybe they need to take the servers down to add code to allow for 7 hero parties (crosses fingers)?

It's possible, but I'm keeping my hopes low. Same for the 7 hero update. I'm expecting these in a few months.

Embark Beach with 7 hero party and some other stuff will come after the Dervish update.
