Can someone else wear the armor?

I have a warrior in the Monestary and would like to get some Pre- armor. Is there a way that one of my Pre alts can buy it for my warrior?
I think my warrior is too little to travel to Pre (I just made her yesterday) to get different armor herself.
Thanks

Armour is only wearable by the toon you put it on .

Armour can only be bought by the character it is intended for as it is automatically customised for the person that buys it.
Also armour crafters will only show armour relevant to the profession of the character speaking to them.
If you want "Pre-Armour" for your Warrior who is not in Pre Searing then there are two ways:
Krytan Armour (which is the same as Pre collector armour)
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Warrior_Krytan_armor
Ascalon Armour (which is the same as the default armour for new warriors in Prophecies)
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Warrior_Ascalon_armor
On the wiki pages it shows the location you need to get to to acquire the armour and what materials you need for it.

Thanks for the info - I really wanted armor with Pants (vs little skirt) for my warrior. There doesn't seem to be any other than Pre Searing.
I am not too sure what level I need to be to travel?

If you are talking about going to Pre-Searing, you can't go there unless you start there. Once you leave pre you can't go back,

You an get low-level (AL35) Ascalon Armor in Shing Jea Monestary, which should see you through until you get further along in the story-line where you can get better stuff. (See the 2nd link bsoltan posted to see what you'll need) GL & HF!

you can always look at armor here for your warrior. Plenty or armors have pants.
I'm assuming you're using a female warrior, since all the armor in shing jea for females has skirts.
In factions you have Kurzick armor, Elite Kurzick Armor, Elite Canthan armor, and Elite Luxon armor which all have pants instead of a skirt.
In an earlier thread you said you have Nightfall, in which case you also have the options of Sunspear armor, Elite Sunspear armor, Ancient armor, and Primeval armor.

You need to be level 10 to travel to EotN; not sure there is any restriction for the others. Here is a list of quests that you use for your first trip to each one. Once you have been to another area, you can travel there via the boat on your M for Map.

If you like the look of Warrior Pre-Searing armor, you can buy an identical set from Suki in Kaening Center.
The set that Suki sells is maximum level armor, but looks just like pre-searing.

pre searing is the ONE place you can not return once you have left (for factions and nightfall they allowed characters to be in the starter areas)....but yes you can get the same looking armors for your characters in other parts of the chapters .....and with max level (instead of the beginning level pre armor).
you can check out all of the armors available in game by visiting the wiki armor page: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Armor
and click on the profession on the right side of the screen to view all of that classes armors....pick one to look at (click on it) and it will show you where to get it and what it requires to craft it.
