got banned and dont know why

well i just got banned didnt know why. I was loading in a town next thing i know i am on fire and i get disconnected all way back to the log in screen and no reason pops up just says code 045. i put in a support ticket and been 3 hrs.

From what I have witnessed, Dhuum pops up. Scythe Swipe. Player Dead. Upon logout you can no longer log in on that acct. Ive never heard of being able to log back in to a smoldering avatar on the ground.
Only thing you can do is wait for a reply. If you truly have commited no offense but ArenaNet doubts you are the owner of the acct, you must prove ownership. Supply orginal activation codes from the discs or payment history in the game store or provide date/time stamped screen shots of your characters that prove you have had ownership for a significant timeframe. Years.

im not crapping u it load and my body was on fire and it sent me to log screen i didnt have chance to screen shot or i would have
i gave them my product code and name and how long i been playing my char. just wait on respone from them and i will scan and give them ym recipet if that what they want

Thats really the best you can do, most people dont have thier product codes. It is possible to get your acct unlocked, just takes a few days of sweating. now, if you have changed all the login and pass word infos on your acct in conjuntion with informing Anet of a possible hack or compromise of the infos this will cause a lock out.

well i had made account on ncsoft store website becuase i bought eotn and they sent me a verifi email and i couldnt get my yahoo email to load and when it ry verfie it said i permantlly blocked

Send your ticket handler a copy of what you got in the yahoo e-mail as well as the original verify e-mail. Overwhelm them with evidence and be POLITE. Write properly and use nice language. And always thank them for their understanding and helpfulness.

ya am getting same thing 45 error on my main account but my other are still working so dont know log off has normal last week tryed going on this weekend no luck waiting for them to get back to me to but if been banned dont they ban ur ip too even other account linked to same master account still working just dont understand it

They will only ban that account not ip's, and if its a perma ban you find it hard to get a reply, if its a temp ban you will find they wont contact you and explain until after your ban has finished its duration.

ok just gone through all my email and found one from paypal saying account access limited
ect say saying need to update everything and confirm who i am ect could it be something silly like that seen people say they got ban for useing prepay cards, could have paypal sent msg to ncsoft say am under investigation about my account and they ban me thinking i been useing fake paypal cause i payed for everything on my guildwars account with paypal ????

What's the reason of the ban, as mentioned in the error message you receive at login?

When I had my account hacked by singapore gold sellers, it took about 3-4 days of back and forth with support. I did get my account back, but most of my chars valuables were gone (all mats, money, consumables)...so expect that your stuff may be gone if/when you regain control of your account.
You will get your account back, just be polite with support as suggested above and provide them with what they ask for and things will be set straight.

that heart breaking because of xmas and holloween had pretty much did a whole lot of farming and had a fair bit of money and new armors ect lucky everything i did have a put in hom but no i loved my ranger she was 5years old my life over

Ok as i said before in other posts and someone already said - support staff dont work weekends as far as anyone knows and if by chance a staff member of anet or ncsoft sees this - can you suggest putting on support site you dont work weekends.
Sadly this means having to wait till probably tuesday earliest ( mondays support have a few thousand ( guessing ) support tickets to get thru as catchup ) before support can assist you.

I don't quite see what this has to do with guild wars guru? We're only a fansite and can't actually help you or explain why. Send a ticket to support and ask for a review of the ban.
I'm also thinking that Anet support don't work weekends so there might be a bit of a wait.

SAME thing happened to me on Friday, I was sitting in Gunnars, Dhuum pops up and I got banned. I sent a support ticket to them, been waiting a few days now with no response. I'm just hoping they respond soon so it gets cleared up!

Actually I had a similiar experience last weekend. My account was hacked thru the master account on NCSoft's site. I think the hackers got my password from the attack on guru a while back. I didn't realize it, but the master account had the same password as guru. I didn't know that was the case or i would have fixed that little loophole. Anyways, my story had a happy ending. My account was stolen at 10am Sunday, but I didn't discover the theft until 11pm Sunday evening. I contacted NCSoft immediately and got a response immediately. They locked down the account. Monday morning, I emailed them all the info they needed to verify my ownership and again got a reply within an hour. I retrieved the account and nothing was missing. I guess the hackers couldn't get past the character name requirement which I haven't posted on guru in over a year. You can find it if you dig thru my old posts, but that's probably too much work for the average thief.
I was happy with NCSoft's response time and very surprised everything was still there. I got lucky.

I personally have the Guru community to thank for giving me the tools I needed to get my acct unlocked. If noone had offered insight on how to properly defend my case to Ncsoft and had just said "Submit a ticket" I may not have an active acct now. It takes more than just a ticket to get your acct back. You must satisfy a human on the other end that you are the rightful owner. Again I thank the compassionate and understanding Guru community members who offered advice.
