Thank you in advance for responding to my post. I am an avid pvp gamer and have been playing for quite a while, I play on a laptop since I am off at college and have a middle of the road hp laptop, specs:
Processor:Intel(R)Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9550 @2.66GHz 2.67GHz
Ram: 4.00 GB
32 bit operating system
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce G 105M
Anyways I run Guild wars on the lowest settings and get usually around 150fps, recently I have been getting around 30 fps and even single digit fps's on occasion and I have no idea why. Guild wars kept crashing when I was running the background programs I usually do - I have now closed all these background programs and solved the crashing but the game still has really poor fps and it's really making the game unplayable. One thing I have considered is that I have gone away on winter break to England away from where I usually study in Boston, so I was wondering if the change in voltage from the plugs maybe had an effect?
Basically as you might have guessed, I don't know much about computers unless its related to video games or facebook so I would appreciate it if someone could help me on this issue.
Many thanks
