Hey ive been away from guildwars for a while . just came back after deciding to try and fill up as much in my HOM as possible before gw2.
I have a load of double mini pets left over after dedicating my 40odd and i was wondering if we are aloud to make trade threads in Ventari's Corner?
i looked in the rules and didnt see anything for or against it.
I find it silly to have to sell all of them only to buy the ones i need when they can be traded to others who need them.

You are free to create a trading thread. Since we don't really have any rules governing this, it's fine if you choose to place the thread in either Sell or Buy (not both!).

The mini pets i got in double are white and some purple

so that would be low . i will do one in "buy" as i have a thread in sell already.

the OP is absolutely correct -- there should be a centralized location (eh........I mean on the forums, not EotN outpost) where ALL pets (not splitting between low and high end, as some people may want to trade a 100k mini for four 25k minis) can be swapped

trading threads go nowhere in buy or sell forums (and by 'go' I mean they don't get any traction or viewers)

That way people who wish to trade minis and what not can limit it to that prefix and it can also get some general sell exposure?

That way there's no cluttering everything with a new section that few people will use...and will still have a set location for trading with a way to limit it down to just trades?

We definitely won't open a new forum just for trading. The projected use of a forum like that simply isn't worth the real estate, and all the other things we'd have to take into consideration.

As for a prefix, I'm wary of adding this because then it removes a lot of functionality. If you have a WTT thread in sell, that means you can't be selling any items in your thread - just trades. Plus, it creates more rules to follow and moderate, with amendments to the guidelines.

Considering WTT threads and questions pop up so rarely, a handful of the sell mods and I agree we would rather just continue on the route we're already on. If people want to trade, they can simply create a thread in buy or sell.
