Dyeing the Crown Blue?
ariao
Simply, how? The dye charts for the Crown (the one you get for beating Magni the Bison 5 times in the norn fighting tournament and trading in the reward) are NOT accurate, if i use a blue dye, i get a light purple color, even trying several mixes will not give me the deep blue that is on the dye charts for it. So how can you get the deep blue color? Green dye however gives it the bright green color, which is what it is supposed to be, sooo...

Try buying 2-3 of every colour and maybe 1 white and 1 black. Just keep, for lack of a better word, troubleshooting until you find the right combination.
I do this all the time with armor sets when trying to find a cool funky colour.

sadly no matter what combo i try, i cant replicate the blue. I think for some reason, the hat is glitched for mesmers, as i saw a necro dye it blue (using only 1 dye) and got the exact color, where as i cant replicate it even with combos of up to 4 x.x.

Could it be your monitor isn't bright enough or the colour for your monitor is off?
Snograt
Then the picture on the wiki would look wrong too...
Lukyboy
Can't test it on mesmer but it looks the same to me
Could it be that you need to turn up your graphics settings in game?

It's not your graphics card or settings. the crown just dyes weird on certain professions. - or at least it did when EotN was first released and I don't think they fixed it yet. I'll check in a bit on my chars.

As far as I can tell only the sin and the mes dye differently.
Here is the dye chart for sin (and, I assume it's same for mes):
2 blues and 1 green was the closest I could come to a true blue - still a bit purple-ish. 1 blue and 1 green was a bit off in the green direction:
