The Order Of Pointed Sticks [OOPS]

R/

Aha, I've caught your attention with my absurd title phrase and somehow managed to get you to open this thread! Excellent... my plan is going perfectly...

Now, I must endeavor to explain to you what makes OOPS worth joining when where are countless other recruiting guilds. Let me use some fancy bullet points for this, because bullet points make everything look more professional.
OOPS is:Family. Our members are not just +1 to the roster. We truly care about who you are not just in-game, but as a unique and interesting human being with a wealth of life experience both behind and ahead of you. We hope you get to know us and care about who we are too. Social. Sometimes we die mid-mission because we're too caught up in the conversation, or are typing out a witty pun. (Or, in some cases, because a certain monk is too busy trying to knit and monk at the same time, and can't quite manage to keep her team alive when she's hitting the keyboard with the ends of her needles after every stitch.) Silly. Life is better when you don't take things too seriously. Especially unfortunate socializing or knitting-related accidents as mentioned above. For more information, refer to our Wiki Page. Kurzick. Sparkly sentient trees will prevail against those silly turtles. Multi-generational. Our membership ranges from grandparents to teenagers. Relaxed. You are not required to faction farm, attend events, talk with us on ventrilo, or even log in if you don't want to. We are here to make the game more enjoyable for you, not force you to comply with our guild's agenda. Part of an alliance that is just as crazy if not more so than we are. Even if no guildies are around, there's usually activity to be found on alliance chat.
Basically, if you are an intelligent articulate person with a sense of humour and a deep respect for others looking for a guild community to call home, I invite you to visit our website and read through our application process. I don't apologize for the length of the process. You know that amazing feeling of knowing you've found the guild that's somehow just perfectly right for you? That's what we strive for with every new member. We want you to be completely happy with your guild, whether that's us, or whether with another guild that would suit you better.

Hope to hear from you soon!
