Specific question regarding upgrading my account with new campaigns

I have 2 guild wars accounts one has all the chapters and my other one only has prophecies.

If I bought the trilogy with factions and nightfall would I be able to upgrade my existing prophecies account with just the factions and nightfall chapters?

It is possible to upgrade your Proph account with a trilogy key. However, the trilogy is one key for all three campaigns (not one key for each) so you can't add Factions and NF and have a Proph key left over.

Yes you can always add it to an existing account and upgrade it that way.

Yes, that's what I did... and you'd end up with a total of 8 toon slots. You would, in essence, "lose" the second copy of Prophecies... the one that came in the Trilogy, but given the price of the Trilogy vs individual prices for Nightfall & Factions, it's still a bargain.

The trilogy would upgrade your account by adding anything you didn't have (including bonus items), but would not disturb your existing characters or their accomplishments.
