IM curious if you could do this with whirling defence and oh say by urals hammer and also is this run in hard mode because i would love to get some more gold and keys during weekend events

CE - i was wondering who would be first to post the a/me for a full run , have you tested yet if me/a can run same run yet.If not i`ll give a try later as well.

On an important note - the 2 single snowmen at the top at start avoid - they cause daze , with the snowmen at the first ice turrets run past and keep running thru the gate , the mob on left side also avoid - they deal daze as well , run down the alley towards the 2nd gate , when past the gate avoid the angry ( not sure but hes the solo one that gives alarm ) snowmen and run up right side near the moa ( if they spawn ) , the snowmen will usually come forward but still avoid the angry one.The rest of the snowmen near the first boss and rest thru gate and frosty`s do not have daze so are safe to pull.
If you find on the run you get daze then you have pulled the wrong snowmen apart from that its quite an easy run.

EDIT - A/r using whirling will do 5 dmg and eboh doesnt affect the dmg at all , Buh wont add much itself - maybe 6 to 7 dmg instead of 5.

IAU isnt really needed - could replace with something better.
In a few hrs after ive had a few messabout test runs i`ll post some builds with armor setup - tho my attempt i had no shield and used a zeleous scythe of enchanting and was a/ra.

insanethemadone - actually the dungeon reward of a few party items doesnt really give me the urge to have koris alive and the 2.5k exp from handing in ... negliable.Some runs you can get no golds and others you can get several golds and the odd tome , just keep at it.

The following are tested only on first 2 mobs but will do dungeon using CE`s route.
SIN OwJTgZ/8ZiHRn5AiA64YXMVU4AA - full radiant with attunement , +1 +3 shadow arts ( can do just on 12 ) with 10vs cold shield and 20% enchant weapon.With Buh and whirling you will only do 6 dmg and you need to tight ball the mobs ( using whirling you should do that anyway ).
Same build but instead of radiant armor i used full blessed and only 1 enchant with same weapon setup - so 2nd enchant could be saved as emergency incase of dmg or replaced with another skill.
Its possible to switch ebon sin for radiation field on the above builds as whirling defence will quite quickly kill the first boss.

Its not a fast kill build and probably slower then a/me but is a fun option.

Ive tested few variations of this build,instead of ebon sin ive used Cop works quite well or radiation field but the second one slows down killing the first boss a bit and instead of drunken master dark escape is sufficent to run the beacon. Its quite fun to farm it usual ~5 unids per run including chest

CE, just a tip: use the new PvXDecode. Always nice to see new builds, this one reminds me of the Chaos Ledge farm .

Drunken Master and IAU are both unnecessary, you can replace them with Ether Nightmare and Cry of Pain for example.

i couldn't figure out how to run past them so i found a way to just kill them. run up and get argo. hit IAU then run back towards the doors and stand here, they won't be able to hit you and neither will the guy behind you.


then step out to here so you can get energy from the 1 guy behind you


after their dead just finish off the run. haven't figured out what the best skill to replace the running skill with is yet, a lot to choose from.
Edit: cry of pain works really good.

WTB Q11-13 Str -2e/-2s Eternal Shields

First post, new to farming. Fun way to try to learn.

Brief background: prior to this Feb, the last time I played GW was before Factions came out and the furthest I got was Amnoon Oasis. I've missed a lot and am playing catchup, and have never had the opportunity to practice farming before.

I have exactly this setup except armor: mine is max and I don't know what 'enc.' means. With that setup I'm not having terribly great success in NM or HM. Specifically two things are happening: mantra is dropping without warning, and the snowmen alternate between doing no damage to dropping my hp like a rock. I have no idea what's happening.

I tried swapping Deadly Paradox for Arcane Echo, and it works well enough to give me more SF (which buys me enough time to stack the first two groups and Wastrel's them). But the above problem kills me, and prevents me from running past the bridge into the next big group(s).

Suggestions?

My powers of observation are... lacking. You are correct. Another player (Smoke Assassin) just got done helping me figure out exactly how this build works and where I was failing with it. Both Paradox and Drunken are stances and cancel mantra, which I wasn't seeing before. Also, I had overlooked the damage reduction part of SF. Both it and Shroud give me 10 damage reduction, which is absorbing I think most of the snowmen's damage. Mantra for some DR, and e management.

Made a couple changes: bought a sup rune for shadow arts, swapped arcane echo back for paradox, and changed the order I used skills in. Shroud --> Paradox --> SF --> Mantra, IAU when needed, ignore Drunken unless I need to run. This managed the snowmen MUCH better, and now I just need to try the run to the next rez point with some beer and no death penalty.
