Killing destroyers first wave Glints Challenge

Don't know if this is the right place to ask. But just having a problem with farming destroyer cores.

I have done this in the past and now working on another build that should work.
But my problem is that when I try to ball them up about 4 destroyers leave the group and going after my baby

Has there been a change that I forgot about?

I hope someone can answer my question and give me some directions on how to ball them up just right. (never had a problem in the past ) And yes I have looked at some vids to see what i'm doing wrong

Make sure you're not using any movement speed boost skills, and walk backwards when balling, sometimes they get stuck on each other and lose aggro from you.
