The thrill is in the chase - not the capture.
God Of Phwoar
Is it me or after spending weeks hunting a specific title, when you finally reach it. You have 2 - 5 minutes of excitement, then sorta give out a little *sigh* and put the laptop down for next few hours until you have a genius scheme too hunt another one. I mean, I feel as if I'm doing this for the sake of it! Am I alone?
Since then, I have completed the rest of the EoTN titles and got to 38/40 without grinding and without going into any leet areas like FoW, DoA. I just did the Zquests that I wanted to do and which helped me to finish off titles, and others if I felt like em!
To me its still FUN. I have an aspiration to get to 40, but if I don't no worries, I'm not going to kill myself to do it. If I do get there, then I will get that warm glow inside and then help the missus and stepson to work on things they need to do - its all good!
To me the thrill is definately in the chase, but also in the experience and not in the final (passing) glow of achievement.
I hadn't at this point used my main char for a while and this gave me a reason to use her again, which is good. Bought a few minis and finally finished Mini Moa quest, got me to 30 and I was happy because I had unlocked all the extras ready for GW2
