Cartography Help? Experts help!

Here's the deal. I'm on 96.7%, And i've scraped every town/outpost/explorable area/arena & storage pane. If you get my drift, I'm meaning everywhere! I dont want to use texmod, No.. i'm not one of those people who's scared of getting banned, I want to be able to say honestly that I done it without it! So can anyone give me some tips on how to get the last few percent without cheating? Thanks alot.

yea what campaign...and can you post a picture of your map?

If you're at 96.7% you've definitely missed at least one explorable area. Look at some maps to see which ones you missed.

Remains of Sahlahja is easily overlooked, but adds less than 2% to cartography, so there is more that you have missed.

For the record, texmod isn't cheating, you can use it because you aren't changing anything to the game.. So, use it, it makes stuff a LOT easier..

And my guess would be taht you haven't done JQ and FA.. They add up a bit..

Have you done the Eradon Terrace glitch? That won't get you the full amount, but that's a healthy chunk. I'd suggest that, JQ/FA (as mentioned above), then the challenge missions.

I agree on what was said before bout texmod. But to give some possible things you might have missed:

1: Shing Jae Boardwalk (open only during canthan festivals like.... hey next week)
2: Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry arena's count to this title. you don't need all, but by just playing it you uncover most of it. (and pls don't annoy people doing it by only doing the cartho, but participate in there)
3: Did you do the area's where the Challenge mission's take place?
4: Did you uncover everything in missions? e.g. did you let Shiro bannish you?

This pretty much covers the most overlooked areas. Also commonly overlooked is the Shing Jea arena, and doing both sides of the 2 group missions, Vizunah Square and Unwaking Waters.

Like skykoone said, it's probably shing jea arena and some minor scrapings.

and the challenge missions---make sure you hug all of the walls (especially amatz basin)

there are areas in the regular mission that can be mission as well, viznuah square you need to hug the eastern wall (after the first big mob fight). There are spots in some of the outposts that people mission as well---in boreas seabed north of the storage and along the western spot is easy to miss. When leaving the dragons throat area (after completion of viz sq?) you need to walk back towards the opening to get another small spot.

did you hit the beginner arena on the starter island? and kaneing center is HUGE did you go to the boat and back to the pier and hit the very western areas?

lots of easy to miss spots (as I found out when I loaded up texmod when I thought I had hit every spot imaginable too---)
