I am having trouble with this quest. Currently I've tried doing it on NM with the useless level 15 henchies and on HM where the enemies are insanely tough. Does anyone have a good hero build? I honestly cannot find anyone to do this quest with..

That was fairly hard going when I did it.
I took a spirit spam build
Heroes
Necro MM
Mesmer Panic
Monk LOD healer
whatever henchies you like though I would avoid melee types.
I took a few consumables to reduce dp if it occurred.
Ditto a summoning stone.
This is something I do as standard most of the time its not needed, I would rather have them to hand than struggle with dp.
Taking it slowly all was fine till I came to the final gateway to the town.
There I got wiped on my first attempt.
I found the best tactic was to fix my party out of range and draw the enemy onto a wall of my spirits once they had blown their initial spells I summoned the remaining spirits to me and the party.
As olias's minions took on the enemy I was busy summoning more spirits.
If it looked like we were being overwelmed I pulled the party out, our minions and spirits hold them long enough to get away and start again.
Most mobs fell easily enough the gateway had a larger mob that took 2 attempts.
The final mobs you just have to take carefully while watching the patrol pattern.
I would hate to do this as a melee type myself I find it doubly hard to control my forces while in melee.
I would probably use a bow so I could stay out of range till its nearly over then throw myself into the fight.

Bring variety, Discordway and/or Racway is failway as far as this mission is concerned.
