Help! cousin stole my used cd keys...
Supa Saiyan Sophmor
is he able to steal my account once he has my cd keys that I already used? what can I do to protect myself?
Darcy
Notify ArenaNet that someone has taken your cd keys. Email [email protected] and put POSSIBLE HACK NOTIFICATION in the subject line so the correct person will handle the message. Give your owner information and answer any questions they have. This way they will flag the account for password change attempts.
Hopefully, your cousin doesn't know your password.

Wow, so if a person manages to get ahold of those old CD keys, they could be malicious and pretend to be a victim to a key generator?

Cousin? I know what I would do to mind if he nicked something off me lol

You definitely need to either get the keys back, or let support know they were stolen. Even without access to the master account, he can use those keys as proof of ownership and swipe your account from you.

then depending on your family relationship with your cousin his age etc make the decision on whether to contact support or deal with it in the family.

Or better yet, schedule another family get-together at his place and take his stuff.

He could try to say that you stole his account and use the keys as proof of ownership. He might have problems getting around the e-mail confirmation though. If you get any e-mail about changing your account details, be sure to inform support.
