i'm not sure whats happened but i logged onto guild wars today (after downloading the new update for the cathan new year) and when i right clicked to move the camera around like i always do it moves so fast like i barely moved my mouse and it moved so fast my fps couldn't keep up with it.
if i move my mouse say...half a centimeter the camera moves maybe a 980 degrees in game.
please someone help me. i searched all the forums already and found some people with the same problem but no answers.

Did you maybe accidently change the sensitivity of your mouse? Theres no other explanation I can think of right now.

edit: i just did a quick test, i put my mouse speed at its lowest and tried moving the camera around, and it moves slower but it doen't move at a steady pace and it jumps around.

Ahh, ok. Sounds more like the mouse movement is not faster ingame, but you are having issues with GW not dispolaying correctly and the movements being jumpy. You said that he Monitor was not able to keep up with the speed, so it is probably moving at normal speed but not displaying every frame making it seemignly jump randomly between positions for you.
That seems to also be a Software problem with GW only which points to a corrupted .dat file. try with the -repair function and if the problem still persists, delete the .dat file in the GW directory and reinstall it using the -image function.

Change or clean your mousepad.
And, yes, this is a serious suggestion.

Maybe upgrade your graphics card drivers, try restarting windows, check for trojans which might be slowing down system as a whole.
