Long Time No Play - What cities are populated?

Hi, everyone!

Been about a year since I last played Guild Wars now, so I thought I'd start out again.

So I have a couple of quick questions:

What cities do people hang out in now where I can easily sell minipets and other items?

Have the community of GW sunk to a really low population now, or has the population of GW been very stable?
About how many are playing actively right now?

tyty!

For a start the main trade city at the moment is Kamadan (Its also widely know as Spamadan for that reason).

The second main outpost for trading is GtoB followed by LA on third place.

Minipet trades are also done in the Eye of the North outpost due to the short distance to the HoM for dedication.

Just about any other outpost is a Ghost town in terms of trading (With the exception of the closest outpost to Nick the Traveller for one week which also changes every week).

I wouldnt say that the population is dwindling. Its more like not grown very much since the Hay days of GW (about equal leavers as newcommers to the game - Recently we haev been seeing an increase in population due to new players and less leavers/returning players doe to the release of the HoM calculator). The problem is that the same amount of players have been spreading along an ever increasing area which now includes 3 continents and one expansion.

So, coming back after a year, also means I don't really remember any short terms.
Would you care to tell me what all of them means again? GtoB and HoM, that is.
And are thoose nightfall/eye of the north cities? I'm still adventuring in Kaeining City/Undercity.. Should I just abondon thoose quests and get my ass to another location?

EotN = the expansion Eye of the North and also the outpost in the expansion called Eye of the North
HoM = Hall of Monuments which is where you can display achievements, Minipets, certain weapons, Minipets and Elite Armors which give you points for bonus items in Guild Wars 2 once it is released.
GtoB = Great Temple of Balthasar which is the PvP traders outpost located in the same map as your Guild hall if you are in a Guild (You can also travel to it by clicking the ship symbol on your map in Factions)

You do not have to abandon any quests to move to another area. You can map travel to any unlocked outpost at any time you want. The Main storyline quests are there to gude you through the storylien and to outposts further along in the continent. It is best you do not abandon these as it is more of a hastle to get them new than it is worth. Especially if you are new/returnign to the game.

Allrite!
Almost back on track now : )

One last question, though; If I want to go to Kamadan with my Prophecies-character, how do I get there? : s
Or should I just use the account-inventory function?

After that use the Map function and press the Ship icon near the port town.

Port towns to travel between campaings are Lions Arch for Prophecies, Kaineng Center for Factions and Kamadan for Nightfall.

And when you see Jora in "Eye of the North", remember that she's spoken for, by me.
