Unable to Install... :(
Zyponusk
Had this for about a week now, it's never happened before (been playing on and off since factions). I've tried everything...
I am the administrator.
I have over 200GB free space (other recommended requirements are met)
Removed it and attempted to reinstall, same.
Restarted my PC, same.
I've also seen people talk about Spybot S&D Teatime. It is off, still can't install. I've tried turning my firewall off also.
Any other ideas?

right click and run as administrator in properties

Download this, install and run it's registry cleaner. You probably have messed up entries for Guild Wars in the Windows Registry. Tools like this have helped me for years when I couldn't reinstall a driver or piece of software. It's also a great program to have anyway.

Right-click on the file and choose "Run as Administrator". (The screenie looks like XP - I'm not sure if XP has this option.)
Or, install GW to a different directory (folder) - that is, instead of going with the default "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars", change it to "C:\Games\Guild Wars".
If the Run As Admin doesn't work, you may have something screwed up in your "permissions" for you and/or some folders.

Tried running as Administrator with and without the "Protect my computer from unauthorized program activity." When the box was ticked I had to send a report to ArenaNet as an error occurred; when it was not checked, I got the original error.
I've also tried the program Chrisworld suggested, but being unable to download the full version I was unable to remove all the errors and so the issue expressed in the original post still occurs.
Anything else, I'm clueless?

You should be able to use CCleaner to repair all detected registry errors. It will ask you if you want to save a backup or something (Click OK/Yes) and then it should fix all errors for you. As far as I know that option is there in both the free and paid for version of the program.

Good news: was able to clean my registry.
Bad news: the problems persists.
I've e-mailed ANet staff, but with it being Friday I dare say it'll take time for them to get back to me.
