All Is [Lost]

So me and my friend have been trying to complete the mission 'temple of the intolerable' in War in Kryta for the last day and we haven't had any luck so far. We have tried using discord, killing all mobs before we attack boss etc..

So if anyone could give us in game help or comment on any tips for the mission
such as skills that could help or tactics, we would be very great full.

Try using Spiritway. Discord is bad in areas with strong cond/hex removal.

I find that success with WiK stuff has more to do with your tactics than your builds. Especially since the mobs are a little different each time you go in. I hear people say these mobs were designed to be "anti-Discord," but a friend and I run that just fine. He's usually on an Eruption ele caller, and I'm doing spirit spam.

What you want to do is hang by the first set of steps, clearing the groups that come from both directions. Once the stream dies down, pick a side then go off to clear back a ways. You'll have to re-center on occasion to clear the stream that comes from the other direction. Just make sure you don't clump up and you should be fine.

You may get Kasandra's group at some point or not. If you don't, what you want to do is go around to the left side of that platform (facing it, your left) and situate yourself around that curve, and pull them through the wall. They should start coming around and you can pick them off.

Once you weed out a few, you can be more direct.

As for Koril, because of the pop-ups, rushing in can be tricky. You'll want to try to pop his allies then pull back to fight them. Pare them down a bit, and then you can rush the last boss.

ok the way ive done this mission is as follows.
Take your time pulling and engaging mobs especially as you approach the boss.
use the bridge near the boss to your advantage - keep team back slightly and pull with a bow and let them come to you , this ensures you only have 1 mob at a time.
Use the area between steps and bridge same as above as the patrols above the steps near boss overlap and even after several mobs theres a high chance more will appear.
Soon as the mobs are killed and theres hardly any appearing go to top of steps an pull the bosses mob and keep watch on left and right sides for any patrols that spawn.
When bosses mob is dealt with - one option is to rush behind the boss at top and fire everything at him. This can mean the lower patrols will miss you but the boss will still spawn some foes but lower hp.
Summoning stones are usefull here but only after you get to top of steps.
This is the only advice i can really give , it took me on 6 chrs quite a few attempts on each to get past this mission and it made a few missions actually feel easy ( a little help from above is easier than this )

Like above, clean everything out before you take on Kasandra. Couple of ways.

1. Clear everything out left and right. Then go around to left and behind down towards beach. Kill all that because you can! Then go up from behind and carefully lure mobs from around Kasandra. Kill them and they get replaced. But after 3 or 4 times replacement either quits or pauses. Then go kill Kassandra from behind.

2. Quicker, kill everything left and right. Lure the sub boss group whatever that is and kill it. Flag your group well back beyond the stairs. Lure Kassandra and find out how far she will come. Adjust position of group. Once she is in range of group, Call Target, and manually trigger off Panic on the Mesmer you have brought along. Lock the Mesmer on target. Unload the works on her. Down she goes usually.

A spirit spammer with Disenchantment is also helpful.

I did this quest solo originally with a Ranger/Rit with Signet of Spirits build including Disenchantment. The three heroes were Livia typical Sabway Healer. Olias MM with a build focused around Flesh Golem (hiss boo) but a disposable tank who blows up helps in a lot of areas. Third hero, Gwen as interrupt Mesmer with Panic elite.

Ranger spirit spam with three heroes above easily soloed Battle for Lion's Arch first try with no consumables.
